(Doubletree Inn location for the Tucson Bead Show.)
Where: The Doubletree Inn, 445 S. Alvernon Way (just south of Broadway and directly east of Reid Park).
2010 NOTE: It's a go! Scroll to bottom of this page for their website.
Exhibitors: According to their website, there will be approximately 500 exhibitors. But when Arizona Bead Dog visited the show on the 7th, it appeared to have less than 75.
What: This show is new this year and follows on the heels of the To Bead True Blue show at the same location. Some of the To Bead True Blue vendors stayed on (although some had to move to the two tents, since between a smaller lobby area and the tents, those were the only spaces open for this show). As with the To Bead True Blue show, there is unique designer clothing, stone and semi-precious beads, Czech glass, seed beads, foil leaves, flamework glass, art clay, Tibetan beads & pendants, Afghanistan beads & pendants, finished jewelry, scarves, and sterling silver and Hill Tribe silver findings vendors. A nice show if you missed out on To Bead True Blue, and a show to keep an eye on for next year.
Parking: The Doubletree Inn has an ample, paved lot that can fill up depending on the number of buyers attending.

(Show tents located directly west of the hotel in its parking area.)
Food: Javelina Cantina and other eats in the hotel.
Rest
rooms: In the hotel.
2011 show
dates: Saturday, February 5th through Monday, February 7th--only a 3-day show so plan accordingly.
Show hours:10 a.m to 6 p.m.
Shuttle route: None noted at this time.
