Where: 1200 and 1202 N. Main Avenue inside the former T-Rex Museum building with the colorful dinosaur paintings on the outside (see street photo above), plus a tent in the large parking lot, and another building directly north:

What: This show offers beautiful amethyst and citrine cathedrals, Peruvian minerals from Peru's largest wholesaler (but this show is definitely open to the public) that are tumbled, carved, or left as natural specimens, unusual fossils, stone carvings, and ammonites. See photos below.

Inside or Out: There's a main building, then there are several outside vendors in tents and other overhead cover. The main building, GMI, will be open all year.

Parking: There's a large lot; just pull in. There's also street parking directly north on Mabel. 

Food: There was a food vendor this year, Reds.

Restrooms: There is at least one across the street at the Rock, Gem, & Lapidary show.

2011 show dates: Saturday, January 29th through Sunday, February 13th.

Show hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except last day, which closes at 4 p.m.

Shuttle routes: Citrine/Tanzanite.
